Brief bio:

PhD in Latin American Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His area of research includes Latin American diplomatic history, and he has conducted extensive archival research in India and in Brazil.

At UIC, Dr Prasad is responsible for activities related to India's cooperation in the field of education with the Europe region, as well as European Union (EU) and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). His research theme is "Internationalisation of European Higher Education Area (EHEA): Experiences of non-EHEA countries and the Bologna Policy Forum".

Brief bio:

Dr. Ajay Singh holds a Ph.D. in Defence & Strategic Studies from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and a Master's degree in the same discipline from Kurukshetra University. He has also qualified UGC-NET in Defence & Strategic Studies. Previously, he worked as an Academic Counselor with IGNOU for over two years. His doctoral research findings have been disseminated through publications in esteemed Scopus/UGC-CARE listed journals, chapters in edited volumes, and presentations at national/international seminars and conferences. At UIC, Dr. Singh leads initiatives fostering India's educational cooperation and partnerships with various nations in South Asia, West Asia, and Northern Africa.

Brief bio:

Mr Chandan Kumar Thakur graduated from Delhi University and pursued a master's in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has also cleared the UGC NET examinations in Political Science, and International & Area Studies. Currently, Mr Thakur is pursuing PhD from the Centre for United States Studies, School of International Studies, JNU. His area of research includes Indo-US diplomatic history and American foreign policy. He has taught in the Department of Political Science, Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, for over a year. At UIC, Mr Thakur oversees India's educational cooperation initiatives with the Americas, including North and South America.

Brief bio:

Kumar Gaurav holds a BTech (CSE) degree from MNNIT Allahabad and an MBA from AKTU Lucknow. Subsequently, his PhD work on "Tribal Entrepreneurship" from the NIT Jamshedpur is funded by Dr Ambedkar International Centre (MoSJE), New Delhi. He has also qualified for UGC-NET in Management and has published several research works in Scopus, ABDC, and UGC Care Index journals. At UIC, he oversees India's cooperation with the African region and the African Union in higher education. He is also working on financing higher education and Skill & Technology development through higher education.

Brief bio:

Mr Parishrut works on India's cooperation with UNESCO and Asia Pacific nations, focusing on the internationalisation of higher education and the evolving impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education. He earned his B.A. Honours (Humanities and Social Sciences) from Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi. He holds a master's in Gandhian and Peace Studies from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and qualified UGC-NET in the same discipline. Jassal’s ongoing doctoral research centres on the global governance of AI by international organisations (UN, EU, UNESCO, OECD & ASEAN) and its potential to advance Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
